Construction
Built to Last
- Fully assembled, full access (frameless) cabinets with doweled construction and pressed-in bumpers.
- 5-piece door assembly (except Killington), mortise and tenon or mitered.
- 5/8" plywood or 5/8" particle board box, including bottom and back panel.
- 5/8" shelves.
- 5/8" Birch wood dovetail drawers.
- PVC edgeband closely matching the door color.
- Finished sides and appliance deco panels available.
- Undermount full extension soft-close glides and fully adjustable clip-on soft-close hinges.
- Premium paint finishes with TRUELIFE, an eco-friendly coating: soft touch, durable, high UV resistance, very low VOC emissions, formaldehyde-free. CARB2 compliant and TSCA Title VI exempt.
About Wood and Stain
Natural wood varies, and that is part of its beauty.
- Only better grade hardwoods and hardwood veneers are used, but natural wood varies greatly in color. Mineral streaks, flecks or pitch pockets and changes in grain are natural characteristics; they are more visible with natural or white stains than with darker stains.
- Glazed finishes are applied by hand and have a unique, non-uniform look, so parts finished at different times will not look exactly the same.
- The joint where rails and stiles meet is always visible, more so with light stains or a vivid grain. Mitered (45°) joints are more obvious and may separate slightly as the wood expands.
- Wood veneers take stain differently than solid wood, especially on recessed panel doors and back panels.
